We’re very happy to have received a handful of Domaine Dandelion’s beautiful Pét Nat, a glorious hazy blush-pink blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir. As always, this sparkler is racy and textured, the 2024 iteration brings a blackberry yoghurt element to this well loved cuvée, alongside that textbook chalky minerality and perfectly balanced acidity. 

Made with grapes coming from one of Morgane and Christian’s top sites, high in the commune of Volnay where they have been farming since 2018. Surrounded by forest, the site is co-planted with Pinot Noir and Gamay over rocky white limestone and red clay.

A cooler site with great minerality, this is the perfect spot for Pét Nat destined grapes to grow. The grapes are hand-harvested, pressed directly and bottled a month later where fermentation completes in bottle. The wine is left undisgorged, giving it a wonderfully inviting sandy haze.
