The first time we have been able to get our hands on any of Noëlla's gorgeous Pinot Noir, coming from a tiny half-hectare parcel that sadly over the years has suffered at the hands of the elements. This vintage over half the parcel was lost to the infamous hailstorm of 2022 that caused huge losses in the region. Tiny quantities then, but what remained made for a pretty, incredibly savoury expression of this delicate grape.

Aromas are elevated and multi-layered, that classic autumnal forest floor with dry spices, charcoal smoke and just a suggestion of the barrel note that will follow. Floating on a gossamer-smooth texture, fruits mix red strawberries with blood orange, with toasted almond notes coming from the wood. Tannins practically melt away with everything hanging in beautiful balance, refined and elegant.

Grapes were macerated as whole bunches for two weeks then pressed into old oak barrels to rest for one year.
