Le Jour se Leve 2024
Another new Petite Nature nĂ©goce cuvĂ©e for 2024, Le Jour se Leve uses Marsanne from St RĂ©mĂ©ze in the southern ArdĂšche. It's a maceration, an inviting warm gold in the glass, made using whole bunches in carbonic maceration - not something you always see with white grapes.Â
This technique really draws out the broad, textural potential of the varietal - tannins have a delicate, dialled-back grippiness that neatly frames ripe southern flavours of hay, honey, saline stone fruit and a burst of pineapple.
