Riesling Sur Grès is Yann’s electric-charged, bouncing-ball of Riesling. Lively, zippy and incredibly fresh with lots of pithy citrus, precise acidity and soft chalky texture.

Made with 100% Riesling grown on sandstone soils, this is the easiest drinking of Yann’s cuvées. The grapes hand-harvested and direct-pressed into stainless steel where fermentation takes place, preserving the wines fresh green fruit qualities. Sur grès is typically a little less floral than Yann’s other cuvées, the focus instead being on zest and fleshy fruit all wound up with a tight coil of acidity. Hazy and thirst-quenching, this is a bottle just begging to be opened in the sunshine.
