The first sparkling wine ever from Gismondi - it's a party indeed! A traditional method fizz that takes as a base wine the directly-pressed Falanghina of Fontana from the 2022 vintage, which is then re-fermented in the bottle with the must of 2023 without disgorgement, col fondo style.

A fine-beaded frizzante that pours a hazy gold in the glass, this very much takes the fleshy, textural peachiness of the varietal and sets it against the saltiness of both the lees contact and the limestone rock of the vineyard soils. Mousse-y and soft, it has a pleasingly rounded front end that goes through orchard fruits, citrus blossom, lees-y spice with a flash of sweet almond in the finish. Bravo Antonio!
