A brand new Gismondi wine from 2024, based around a new parcel of Moscato Bianco he recently acquired. This aromatic varietal seems to fare well at the altitude Antonio works, here planted at 550 meters over rocky limestone in the vineyard where the 2024 harvest commenced, in late August. It keeps the florals in check whilst providing some delicious, nectar-like body. The rest is Malvasia from one of the higher 700-meter parcels and the very end of the harvest, at the end of September - so here we have the wine as a perfect book-end of the vintage.

Given the usual Gismondi treatment, the grapes were vinified separately, de-stemmed and then macerated on the skins for around a week in open-topped vats before being pressed off to rest until spring. It's a wine of wide-eyed delight that speaks of the warmer months. All rose garden perfume, lime peels and green herbs. A welcome new addition to the Gismondi selection!
